International Museum Day, the “Museum Night” at the Central Bank Visitor Centre
The Central Bank’s Visitor Centre has joined the Pan-European events for International Museum Day and the “Museum Night” which the Armenian Ministry of Culture organized in dedication to the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia and May Heroic Battles.
The Central Bank’s Visitor Centre will be open on Friday, May 18th, from 09:00 to 18:00, and on Saturday, May 19th, from 10:00 to 22:00.
In the framework of the above-mentioned events, the visitors will hear about the history of creation of the First Republic banknotes, the coins issued by the Central Bank dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia, the 100th anniversary of Sardarapat Battle. Visitors may also avail themselves the opportunity to know about the history of Armenia’s money circulation from ancient coins to present-day banknotes, and the security features of the Armenian dram.
