“The History of Money Circulation in Armenia: Finances for Everyone” – an Exhibition in Vanadzor
An exhibition titled “The History of Money Circulation in Armenia: Finances for Everyone” opened in Vanadzor, Lori region, Armenia, on September 23, 2015. The exhibition will offer the residents of the region to learn about the history of national currency and money circulation as well as the activities of the Central Bank of Armenia.
The exhibition will be open by October 1, 2015.
With the support of regional government of Lori, schoolchildren and students will be able to visit the exhibition.
In Yerevan, schoolchildren and students visit the Central Bank and get to know about the Bank’s operations by touring around. The purpose of this initiative of the Central Bank is to provide such an opportunity for pupils, students and population of Lori region.
It should be noted that the exhibition on the history of national currency organized by the Central Bank of Armenia was first opened in Vanadzor in 2005. The Central Bank has initiated such exhibitions in Stepanakert, Ijevan, Yeghegnadzor, Gyumri, Gavar, Ashtarak, Artashat, Hrazdan and Armavir.
